What You'll Need
✔️ Freshly ground Obsidian Coffee (Coarse, like kosher salt)
✔️ French Press
✔️ Scale
✔️ Kettle
✔️ Timer
Brew Specs
Ratio: 1:15 (33g coffee to 500g water)
Water Temp: 200°F
Brew Time: 4 minutes
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Add Grounds
33g of coarse ground coffee into the empty press.
2. Pour Water
Add 500g of hot water in one smooth pour. Stir gently to saturate.
3. Steep
Place the plunger lid on top (don’t press yet). Let it sit for 4 minutes.
4. Press
Slowly and steadily press down. No force—just pressure.
5. Pour & Serve
Pour into your mug immediately to avoid over-extraction.
